How to purchase a gift…

Looking to give a massage therapy gift certificate? Wonderful! I only offer electronic gift certificates and treatment packages. I’ve been really good about becoming a paperless practice and I am a solo practitioner which means I don’t have a receptionist or front desk staff to handle purchases when I’m with clients or out of the office. So, honestly, ordering your gift certificate online is the most secure and reliable way to get your gift. Ordering online you have the option to instantly email the gift to the recipient or print a certificate at the end of the purchase to give at your leisure.

Before you buy…

(Geez, Jenn…I just wanna buy the gift already.) I know, I know…for those new here, I’m Jenn and I’m long winded. There are a couple of things I suggest you consider and know before you buy. That’s all. It just seems like the nice thing to do.

While you and I may consider massage therapy one of the best gifts to receive on the planet, not everyone feels this way. (I know…but it’s true.) As tempting as it is to truly surprise your friend or family member and not drop hints, please be sure your gift recipient likes massage therapy and doesn’t already have a favorite massage therapist they prefer to see. Especially if you are looking to buy a treatment package. These gifts are non-refundable and can be an expensive mistake if not truly appreciated.

You can’t add a gratuity or tip onto the gift certificate or treatment package because I don’t accept tips. This tends to confuse people big time but I assure you the price is the whole price and tips/gratuity are not expected. Honest. I swear.

Gift cards have no expiration date and can be purchased as a specific dollar amount or service. If the gift card dollar amount is specified, the gift card total will be applied to the total cost of services booked by the recipient. If service is specified on the gift card, I honor the session time on the gift card. This matters because if my prices increase before the recipient uses the card, it doesn't matter. When purchasing gift cards based upon service, don’t fret too much over the specific service type, but rather the session length; selecting “Therapeutic Massage” covers all the bases. Gift cards based upon service type cost:

  • 30 minute massage therapy/bodywork session: $70

  • 45 minute massage therapy/bodywork session: $85

  • 60 minute massage therapy/bodywork session: $100 (most common)

  • 75 minute massage therapy/bodywork session: $115

  • 90 minute massage therapy/bodywork session: $130

  • 120 minute massage therapy/bodywork session: $160

Treatment packages are sold in groups of 5, expire 12 months after purchase and are based upon session time, not price. The reason this matters is because only services of the specified session time will be covered by the purchase of a treatment package; it cannot be redeemed for sessions of other session lengths. Treatment packages can be shared among family members and friends. Please just share the the information of all parties that can utilize the package. These cannot be formatted the same way as gift cards. (My system just can’t do that. Sorry.) So if purchasing one as a gift, I would buy a gift card above for the amount the package you want to purchase and let me know so I can guide them to purchase one of the packages outlined below.

  • Five 30 minute massage therapy/bodywork treatment package: $375 ($25 savings)

  • Five 45 minute massage therapy/bodywork treatment package: $390 ($35 savings)

  • Five 60 minute massage therapy/bodywork treatment package: $450 ($50 savings)

  • Five 90 minute massage therapy/bodywork treatment package: $575 ($75 savings)

  • Five 120 minute massage therapy/bodywork treatment package: $700 ($100 savings)
